What is an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage?
A restorative and holistic full body treatment that blends deep tissue massage, assisted yoga poses/stretches and breathwork.
What can you expect during a session?
-The session is carried out on a mat on the floor.
-You are well draped to ensure you feel comfortable and warm.
-Deep tissue massage warms up the body, preparing it for the assisted stretches and yoga poses, whilst also working with the breath.
-In the assisted stretches/yoga poses, we work close to your limits, where you are gently held and supported, which helps in releasing tension from the body.
-Finishing with a soothing head massage and savasana/relaxation.
-The massage uses sesame oil and calamus powder.
-Sesame oil is nourishing, calming and warming.
-In Ayurveda, it is said that Calamus “aids digestion of the mind”.
It’s a wonderfully nourishing treatment that will leave you feeling lighter, easier and deeply relaxed…you might not want to get back up…
(Post-treatment snooze rooms should be a thing.)
How it restores you:
-Deep relaxation and grounding
-Releases tension - physical, mental and emotional
-Calms the nervous system and helps relieve stress
-Helps to improve sleep
-Restores the mind-body connection
-Restores harmony to the energetic body
-Restores a sense of well-being and connection with yourself
What people are saying
"There is so much I could say, but it is difficult to describe. However AMAZING is a good start. Ping is an absolute delight. She is a kind, gentle, beautiful soul but also a strong, knowledgeable professional. This treatment had me positively floating for 24hrs. 100% interactive, Ping works with your body to reset and realign. Highly recommended."
"...You bring an incredible range of skills, talent, insight and compassion together to treat the whole person. I felt in such safe hands. After the massage I feel looser, smoother, more elastic and more connected to myself."
“Yesterday, I had an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage with Ping, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable treatments I’ve ever experienced. From the moment the session began, I felt completely at ease. Ping, is highly skilled and created a calm, welcoming atmosphere that allowed me to fully relax and trust the process.
The treatment itself was unlike any massage I’ve had before. It beautifully combined deep, therapeutic pressure with assisted stretches and flowing movements that left my whole body feeling open, balanced, and deeply restored.
The use of warm oils and natural powders (which smell divine) added an extra layer of grounding and nourishment for both body and mind. I left the session feeling lighter, more flexible.
I’m already looking forward to my next session!”
"Ping, thank you for another wonderful massage. I came in feeling tense and wound up. I left feeling calm, balanced and two inches taller. Thank you for putting my body (and my mind) back together again!"
Some FAQs for your first session

It’s a wonderfully holistic blend of deep tissue massage, assisted yoga poses/stretches and breathwork, helping to release tension, restore balance and promote deep relaxation. It’s a lovely, nourishing way to top up the tank.

Not at all! Just like with Yoga, you don’t need to be flexible.
And actually, if you’re not very flexible, this massage can help develop that.
And improving flexibility is important as we get older - helping with mobility and reducing risk of injury.

The deep tissue massage beforehand warms the body to prepare it for the stretches.
I will keep checking in with you to let me know when you reach your limit.
And I’m always observing to see if we are reaching your limit, as certain changes in the body (e.g. a slight crease in the brow, or the tensing of the limb), already tells me we’re reaching your limit before you might say you are.

That’s absolutely fine, just tell me beforehand and I’ll modify the massage to suit.

It is sooo relaxing! I even had one lovely client tell me that she felt like all her cells were all in harmony afterwards.
